Seemed like a straight-forward evaporator coil replacement when I started. Things got dicier when I measured it up. That's when I broke out the camcorder. When I saw that I'd need a shoehorn to fit the new coil into the old case/plenum... it was destined to be posted here. It's possible to hack a system neatly. I do not recommend that every installer do what I did. This was a case of "Get It Done and Make Sure It Works". I took care of business. They didn't ask me if I liked it. They told me to DO it.
