Vertical Babington (new oil sump)

Vertical Babington (new oil sump) Tube. Duration : 4.92 Mins.

I build a new oil sump for the vertical Babington burner. It has a floater switch so the sump will keep its level when the burner burns the oil. I also added a screen to catch the ash particles that fall from the burner into the oil stream. I have to see if it works. Also a small preview of the new burner. It has grown a bid because I added a coup[le of new features and safety devices. I have added the flowing things: Automatic ignition of the burner Starts at high pressure and switches back to operating pressure after a few seconds. At the same time a thermocouple is watching the flame. When burning then it keeps the air flowing, when not then it is switching it of. The burner can not start when the oil temp is below a pre-set value and the burner is also switched of when during burning the temp is falling below a pre-set value. After ignition the propane is also switched of. When ignition fails then the propane is also switched of after 10 seconds. I still have to do some test before i can show the results. Thanks for watching!
